Homemade Non-Toxic Soap
With prices skyrocketing in a tumbling economy, sometimes you have to learn creative ways to get various things done. Here is a great way to make your own homemade, chemical free hand soap. The hand soaps on the market have so many chemicals in them, that they comprimise your health and your immune system. Nobody wants that. Laura, from Heavenly Homemakers, has some creative ways to bring health back into your family's lives. Check out her post on how to make your own handsoap.

Danielle,
This looks great! Have you tried it? I already make our laundry detergent. I think I spend maybe $10 a year! Where would you buy the "natural" soap she is talking about? I had never really thought about all the chemicals in handsoap...I really would like to give this a try!
Letha, I haven't tried this yet for myself. However, it is on my to do list for sure. You can find the natural soap at any health food store (Vitamin Shoppe, Organic Health Food stores, etc). I get our soap from Publix. It is near the organic section. It's called "South of France: Shea Butter." It is a French milled vegetable soap. We have really been pleased with it.
Thanks! I'll look for it next time I'm at Publix!
