- They are great for the immune system. They have vitamin c, beta carotene, iron, and phosphorous.
- They are an anti-inflammatory internally and externally. Not only do they have vitamin c and beta carotene, but they have magnesium which is vital for the body.
- It helps with congestion and apparently helps with asthma.
- They help with arthritis. Along with the beta-carotene and magnesium, vitamin-B complex and zinc are found in this magnificent vegetable. Apparently, the water that is used to boil sweet potatoes in can be applied externally to help with arthritis.
- They are easily digestible and gentle on the digestive system, also having lots of fiber.

- They help balance water in the body.
- They help regulate blood sugar levels.
- They help with quitting of various addictions and good for the health of arteries and veins.

Benefits of Sweet Potatoes
Believe it or not, various foods have various benefits for the body. Food really has power. Upon making my Sweet Potato Spice drink, I wanted to look up all the different ingredients to see how they help aid the body to function the way God intended. Here are some of the things I found.
